Al-Hassan Industrial Estate, Irbid – Jordan — The Board of Directors of the Workers Center Association is pleased to announce the reopening of the Workers Center in Al-Hassan Industrial Estate on Friday 6 March 2026. Activities at the Center have officially resumed, and workers have already begun returning with great enthusiasm to once again benefit from the services and community space it provides.
The Board extends its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Labour, the General Trade Union of Workers in Textile, Garment & Clothing Industries, the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Jordan Garments, Accessories & Textiles Exporters Association (JGATE), and the Jordan Chamber of Industry for their continuous support and collaboration in advancing initiatives that promote worker well-being and responsible industry practices.
The reopening of the Center marks an important milestone in restoring an essential space for workers in the industrial estate. The Workers Center serves as a vital community hub where workers can participate in recreational and social activities, access support services, and engage in a welcoming environment that strengthens their well-being and sense of community.
The renovation and reopening of the Center were fully funded by factories operating in the industrial estate, reflecting the strong commitment of the garment industry to supporting its workforce and sustaining initiatives that positively impact workers’ lives.
The return of workers to the Center has already brought renewed energy to the space, with workers actively participating in activities and enjoying facilities designed to support their needs. The Workers Center will continue to play an important role in fostering engagement, awareness, and community for the thousands of workers living and working in Al-Hassan Industrial Estate.
